THE BOOGER QUEEN
Vol. 2 — A Children's Picture Book
A World Unlike Any Other
Far beyond the edges of where maps dare to venture, there exists a kingdom hidden in the folds of the universe — a living, breathing world ruled by the one they call The Booger Queen.
The great glowing tree at the center of her realm had stood since before memory. Its teal branches reached like arms toward the stars, and every fruit it bore held a wish inside.
The Queen Watches
Deep inside the mountain cave at the heart of the kingdom, two burning eyes glowed in the dark — watching, waiting, always listening. She had ruled long enough to know when something was coming.
And today, something was indeed coming. A small visitor had arrived at the edge of the kingdom, curious and unafraid.
Open the Gates!
"OPEN THE GATES!"
A loud voice rang out — the kind of voice you'd make if you pinched your nose tight and then yelled as hard as you possibly could. It was strange and magnificent all at once.
The ancient iron gates had not been opened in a very long time. The whole kingdom held its breath.
The Gates Opened
With a groan like thunder, the great gates swung wide. Hundreds of soldiers lined every inch of the path — striped blobs in perfect rows, each one holding a spear that gleamed in the torchlight.
And there, at the far end of it all, sat the Booger Queen upon her throne. She did not move. She did not speak. She only watched.
Our Creator Is Here!
"Our creator is here! Our creator is HERE!"
One of the soldiers could not contain themselves. The shout spread like wildfire through the ranks, soldier to soldier, voice to voice, until the entire kingdom was trembling with the words.
The Queen rose to her full, impossible height. Her shadow fell across everything.
Pick Me. Please.
The Queen stepped forward and spoke in a voice like distant thunder wrapped in velvet:
"May our creator choose any one of us — to lead a new and glorious path."
Every eye in the kingdom turned upward. Every blob stood still. And then, in the quietest whisper she had ever whispered, the Booger Queen added:
"...I hope it's me."
